new-faces3This week’s Best Book is Philip Jenkins’, The New Faces of Christianity: Believing the Bible in the Global South.  Jenkins presents a thoroughly-researched, well thought-out, and highly provocative prediction of the future of global Christianity in the 21st century.  This is a book every pastor and laity leader will find insightful and helpful.

Totally agree with you. Jenkins breaks through the barriers of secular academia to look at Christianity as a world movement — not as a US-phenomena related to secular politics.

I learned about your blog from the Wesley Report, which I enjoy. Keep up the good work!

Love this book! I think Jenkins has done a good job of both reporting and forecasting.

Thanks for all that you do!
