Discussing The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian, 7:00 a.m., Thursday, March 7
On Zoom: Banned Book Club

We continue to explore and understand the rising tide of calls to ban books in school and public libraries, even to burn books in some parts of our country. We’ve read and discussed The Bluest Eye by Toni Morrison, and John Green’s, Looking for Alaska. On March 7 we will have conversation about The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian by Sherman Alexie. We would love to have you join the discussion about the book, but also the larger conversations about freedom of expression, censorship, literature and art, coming-of-age challenges. I hope to see a few new faces.
